On Friday, Forest Heath Fasteners proudly sponsored a charity football match at Soham Town Rangers Football Club in support of Man Up. A UK-based charity dedicated to raising awareness about men’s mental health.
The event brought together members of the local community from across the region for a fantastic evening of football. All to help shine a light on the issue of men’s mental health.
Who Are Man Up?
Man Up is a mental health charity committed to breaking the stigma surrounding male mental health. Their mission is to encourage men to speak openly about their struggles, seek support and know that asking for help is a sign of strength — not weakness.
Through awareness campaigns, community events and mental health support services, Man Up is working hard to change the culture around how men deal with emotional and mental challenges.
Why It Matters to Us

Statistically, men in manual and construction-based roles are at a higher risk of experiencing mental health issues — often in silence.
