Forest Heath Fasteners Competes in An amazing Charity Soapbox Race for My Wish Charity!

Here at Forest Heath Fasteners are proud and excited to announce, that we along with a select group of highly trained, skilled craftsmen, shall be taking part in the, My Wish Charity Soapbox Race 2024 to be held in Bury St. Edmunds on August 31st.

As well as the Forest Heath Fasteners team, we will be joined by, Jackson Projects, Milbec Carpentry, Rolfe Carpentry, Van Driel Engineering, TBI Manufacturing and Veloce Race Engines.

We have our designers, we have our engineers, technicians, pit crew and a fearless driver (Declan Fry) but as with any Top Flight racing team we now need supporters and fans, that’s where you come in…..

UPDATE:

We’re thrilled to have taken part in the My Wish Charity Soapbox Race 2024! Held on Mount Road in Bury St. Edmunds. Sally and her team at My Wish did an absolutely cracking job with putting this brilliant community event together. As a local business, Forest Heath Fasteners fully supports events that pull our communities together. They provide a great family day out, packed with fun, laughter and good food!

The soapbox was an incredible experience. We couldn’t have done it without the generous support of our team and our sponsors. They all donated their time, skills and money. Together we raised over £2,000.00 for the My Wish Charity.

The making of our Soapbox-

Our Soapbox started out as a simple tubular frame but soon turned into our vision of a Thunderbolt. A perfect representation of the fixings and fasteners industry that we specialize in. Once the Soapbox frame was completed, we could then move onto wrapping it and adding the finishing touches, including some of our sponsors stickers.

These skilled guys on board made creating Thunderbolt soapbox that much easier. It been a pleasure getting to see our soapbox come to life, but it’s been a great opportunity to get to know all these guys better.
